Meet Dr. Karly Maines
Karly brings a thoughtful, grounded approach to care rooted in a deep curiosity for the human body. She is a licensed physical therapist specializing in orthopedic conditions and pelvic floor therapy, with over a decade of experience helping individuals move with greater ease, confidence, and resilience. She treats a wide range of concerns, including orthopedic conditions, bladder, bowel, and sexual dysfunction, as well as challenges related to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, perimenopause, and menopause.
At the heart of Karly’s work is education and empowerment. She blends individualized, hands-on treatment with clear, practical guidance so clients leave not only feeling better, but better equipped to support their bodies over time.
Karly earned her Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification in 2015, deepening her understanding of how proper movement mechanics support long- term health. Her work in pelvic health grew naturally from her orthopedic background and her desire to better support the body as a whole. Through years of clinical experience, she has come to understand the pelvis as a key contributor to stability, movement, and daily function. By integrating pelvic health with strength, mechanics, breath, and Pilates-based movement, Karly helps clients build a more connected and resilient foundation for long-term well-being.
In 2024, Karly completed THE LAB Pilates Teacher Training at Inner Vision, expanding her skill set through a stronger foundation in Pilates to better serve the growing community. She has also completed her Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialty Certification and is trained in dry needling, allowing her to integrate advanced techniques into a holistic, whole-body approach to care.
Born and raised in Fort Thomas, Karly has returned to her hometown to raise her three children with her husband. She is deeply committed to giving back to the community through her work in orthopedic care, pelvic health, and Pilates.
