Frequently Asked Questions
Getting Started
WHAT TO EXPECT & HOW TO PREPARE
How do I book my first visit?
You can book Group Classes and Physical Therapy directly through our app or website. Private Pilates sessions are booked by our client care team — please complete our intake form and we will be in touch!
What should I do before my first session?
We’re excited to have you.
For Pilates:
Please arrive 5–10 minutes early to breathe, stash your belongings, and get oriented in the studio. We have a bathroom and changing room (no showers) and offer complimentary water. Grip socks are recommended (not required).
We encourage you to unplug for the hour — phones silenced and tucked away in your cubby — so you can be fully present in your practice. Come with a beginner’s mind, and we’ll guide you from there.
For Physical Therapy:
Please complete all intake forms before arriving so we can use your time together efficiently. Wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement and assessment, and plan to arrive a few minutes early.
Where are you located and where do I park?
We are located at 18 N. Fort Thomas Avenue, Fort Thomas, KY.
- Pilates: Suite 305
- Physical Therapy: Suite 310
Street parking (N Ft. Thomas Ave): Enter at street level and take stairs to the 3rd floor; we’re at the end of the hallway. Lot parking (via Miller Lane): Turn right into the back lot, enter on ground level, then take stairs or elevator to the 3rd floor.
Services
PILATES, PRIVATE TRAINING, & PHYSICAL THERAPY
What’s the difference between Group Classes, Private Sessions, and Physical Therapy?
Group classes offer structured, instructor-led movement in a shared setting. Private sessions provide individualized coaching tailored to your goals. Physical therapy focuses on evaluation and treatment of pain, injury, and movement concerns.
If you don’t know where to begin, our team can help you choose the best starting point.
Is Pilates appropriate for beginners?
Yes. Many clients begin with little or no prior experience. Our instructors offer guidance and modifications so you can move safely and confidently.
Start with Fundamentals
We suggesting joining our complimentary Fundamentals class — a small-group session designed to help new clients feel confident and prepared before stepping into our full schedule.
This session is offered Wednesdays at 6:00pm (reservation required). In Fundamentals, you’ll learn how to set up the reformer, how breath leads movement, and how to move with stability, ease, and confidence.
I’m expecting or postpartum. Can I still take a class?
Yes—with medical clearance. Every pregnancy and provider’s guidance is different, so we follow your doctor’s recommendations to keep you safe. New to Pilates or the studio? Start with a Private Session or Physical Therapy evaluation to learn your modifications. Group classes: With clearance, book PAUSE, BEGIN, or FLOW; please avoid BURST during pregnancy and in early postpartum.
Always tell your instructor how you’re feeling so we can modify as needed.
Scheduling & Policies
APPOINTMENTS, CANCELLATIONS, & WAITLISTS

Group classes require at least 8 hours’ notice and must be canceled through the app. A late cancellation forfeits the class credit. Unlimited members are subject to a $10 late cancellation fee and $18 no-show fee for group classes.

How do waitlists work?
